Farah Moti, MD, MSc, FRCSC

Recently relocating from South Africa, Dr. Moti brings over a decade of experience as a comprehensive ophthalmologist. She is highly skilled in the management of cataract, glaucoma, medical retina, trauma, complex anterior segment surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, and oculoplastics.

She completed her Ophthalmology training at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 2013, followed by a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology with a focus on glaucoma research. A leader in her field, she pioneered immediately sequential bilateral cataract surgery in South Africa, served as President of the Ophthalmological Society of South Africa until March 2024, and was a founding member and first Secretary of Women in Ophthalmology South Africa. At North Toronto Eye Care, Dr. Moti provides full-scope comprehensive care. Recognized as an outstanding clinician, she combines expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. She is currently welcoming new patients through comprehensive ophthalmology referrals.
