About Dr. Vafaie
Dr. Vafaie is an optometrist practicing with a special focus on glaucoma and diabetic eye care. He received his optometry degree from the University of Waterloo as well as his Masters of Science in Biochemistry at Western University. He has offered time as an adjunct clinical instructor for fourth year University of Waterloo Optometry students on their ocular disease rotations and Family Medicine residents from McMaster University. He has spoken at numerous continuing education conferences and provides consulting service to industry on topics ranging from perioperative care, advanced glaucoma management, intraocular lens designs and complex anterior segment disease.
He is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists as well as the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
