About Dr. Klein

Dr. Tom Klein is an experienced cataract and glaucoma surgeon who has performed thousands of glaucoma laser and incisional procedures and cataract operations on patients from Canada and abroad. Dr. Klein has co-authored guidelines on the medical management of glaucoma in Canada.

Dr. Klein has introduced several Innovative diagnostic and treatment options which include multifocal lens implants during cataract surgery and the HRT for optic nerve imaging. Dr. Klein was the first eye surgeon to introduce SLT laser treatment for glaucoma locally, which is now a standard of care. 

Dr. Klein values building relationships with his patients and strives to make a positive impact in their lives. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and hiking.
