Dr. Hassan Hazari MD, FRCSC
About Dr. Hazari
Dr. Hassan Hazari is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. He completed his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at Queen’s University, where he served as Chief Resident. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto, where he continues to work as a Clinical Associate Ophthalmologist.
Dr. Hazari has a strong interest in medical education and research. His scholarly work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. During his fellowship, he received the Bob Pashby Award in recognition of medical and professional excellence and his potential as an outstanding teacher.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hazari has a longstanding interest in the visual arts. His artwork has been featured on the covers of medical journals, and he enjoys painting, drawing, running, and spending time outdoors with his family.
