Meet Dr. Sharma
Dr. Rahul A. Sharma is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, neuro-ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon. Dr. Sharma is accepting referrals for general ophthalmic and neuro-ophthalmic conditions, and offers medical, laser, and surgical treatments to his patients.
Dr. Sharma is a faculty member of the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto, and is involved in the teaching of Ophthalmology, Neurology and Pediatric Neurology residents. He is the undergraduate lead for Ophthalmology at the Mississauga campus of U of T, is an investigator at the Institute of Better Health and is on staff at Trillium Health Partners and the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
He has a keen interest in medical education and mentorship and has been recognized on several occasions for his dedication to teaching. Dr. Sharma is an enthusiastic researcher and has given numerous presentations at national and international conferences.
